Professional Staff: The people you'll meet working at Evergreen are very friendly and courteous. They are experienced and educated horticulturists who enjoy working with people and sharing their knowledge, and are committed to providing the utmost in service and quality to our customers. We are fortunate to have on our staff employees who have earned BS degrees in plant science and ornamental horticulture. Several other employees have earned horticulture certificates offered through the University of Rhode Island and the University of Massachusetts. Evergreen employees regularly attend various seminars offered throughout the year the state and regional nursery associations.

Landscape Design: Evergreen provides a full range of design services for all of our customers. This could include the selection and placement of a single tree or a detailed sketch showing suggested landscape beds, plantings and walks for specific areas of the property. We also draw complete landscape designs of properties that could be used to implement an entire landscape or used as a long-range plan to be accomplished over several years. Utilizing a professional landscape design program, we are able to create photo-realistic color designs from photographs we take of your home. Trees, shrubs, flowers, walkways, beds, lawn area and much more can be added and moved around to give you a chance to see what your landscape would look like if various changes were made. Once a sketch or plan has been drawn, you will be invited to our nursery, where our knowledgeable staff will show you the plants that have been suggested in both the actual or available sizes and their more mature size and shape in our display gardens. Landscape Construction: Our experienced construction crews perform complete installation of landscape designs. This includes preparation of planting beds, planting of trees, shrubs, groundcovers and perennials, and construction of brick walks and patios, retaining walls and new lawns. In addition, we provide pruning and feeding services for shrubs and small trees, and spring & fall garden cleanups including mulching.

Water Gardens: We now offer both design and construction services for water gardens! Whether it is a small tub garden for your deck or patio, or a much larger in-ground pond with moving water, we can either help design a water garden and guide you through the construction process or our construction crew can build it for you. The element of water in a garden is both relaxing and enchanting.
